FIRST MATCH HAS KICK-OFF ON FRIDAY JULY 28
GROUP GAMES
The teams are divided into two groups with 4 teams in each.
If two or more teams are tied when the pool is settled, the following applies:
1. Goal difference
2. Most goals scored
3. Matches with each other
4. Penalty kick competition
Two matches are played per day. All matches in the Talent tournament are judged by a trio of referees, and in U11, U12 & U13 are judged by one referee.
Warnings and expulsions are handled according to DBU's rules, i.e. that a warning is NOT time-limited
deportation.
The team must be ready for the match 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the match.
5 minutes before Kick Off, the referee/judge trio whistles the two teams to line up at one corner flag, for control and common entry towards the center circle, where the audience and the teams are greeted between them.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS PER MATCH
In the Talent Cup, a maximum of 16 players may be used per Match. That means 5 substitutions. Substituted players may not be substituted again. In total, there must be 20 players in the squad and thereby 9 players available as substitutes.
In U11, U12 & U13, a maximum of 13 players may be used per match. Substituted players may be substituted again. There must be a total of 16 players in the squad.
REGULATIONS
· If the teams have the same jersey colour, the latter team changes.
· 3 points are given for a won match, 1 point for a draw, while a lost match gives 0 points.
· In the event of a tie in a group match, a penalty shootout will be held to award the winning team an extra point.
· Protests must be closed no later than 30 min. after the end of a match with a deposit of DKK 500, which will be refunded if the protest is upheld. Protests must be in writing and must be submitted to the convention office before the deadline expires.
· A team must bring its own footballs for warm-up.
· When registering the team, a ball is handed over which must be used as a match ball throughout the tournament (and only this ball is used). The home team is responsible for bringing the match ball to the match.
· It is recommended that the players have numbers on their shirts. If this is not the case, please let us know
upon arrival at the tournament.
· At least two sets of shirts in different colors must be brought.
· Team sheet with club name, age group, player names and date of birth must be completed and handed in to the Meeting Office before the team's first match.
· Serious misconduct by players will be reported to the clubs' national federations via
Danish Football Union. (DBU).
• Brøndby Cup Denmark refers to DBU-Sjælland's applicable rules, however, the tournament management reserves the sovereign right to decide questions of doubt.
• Should a match be interrupted (for whatever reason), the tournament management decides how the match may be played. must be continued or whether the position at the interruption of the match must stand. The tournament management's decision cannot be protested.
AGE DISPENSATION
At the latest on arrival at Brøndby Cup Denmark – Talent Cup, a participant list must be handed in, where it is clearly stated which players the team wishes to use.
Players who meet the age limits can participate in two age groups. A maximum of three players on each team may be allowed to play on two teams.
It is possible to apply for a dispensation for players who do not meet the age limit in the individual row. However, the players must be no more than one year older than the current age group.
There may be a maximum of 2 players with an age exemption on the field at the same time.
The team must send an application for dispensation no later than 17 July 2023 to tobr@brondbyif.net.
All players must present valid identification on request, as well as appear clearly on the team card.
FINAL
Warnings and expulsions are handled according to DBU's rules, i.e. that a warning is NOT time-limited
deportation. All finals are played full time according to DBU Sjællands' rules
Placement of the teams in the play-offs will appear from the tournament schedule in the individual years.
• In the event of a tie, the placement matches must be decided by penalty kicks.
U11, U12 & U13 play on grass
U14 & U15 play in all ranks on artificial grass pitches.
The main convention office will be found on the 1st floor in our clubhouse, and there will also be a convention office outside by our art courts.
