FIRST MATCH IS FRIDAY JULY 5
GROUP GAMES
The teams are divided into groups.
If two or more teams are tied when the pool is settled, the following applies:
1. Goal difference
2. Most goals scored
3. Matches with each other
4. Penalty kick competition
All matches in 8-man and 11-man matches are judged by one referee, and in 3-man and 5-man matches it is the referee himself.
Warnings and expulsions are handled according to DBU's rules, i.e. that a warning is NOT time-limited.
The team must be ready for the match 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the match.
5 minutes before Kick Off, the referee whistles the two teams to line up at one corner flag, for control and common entrance towards the center circle, where they greet the audience and the teams between them.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS PER MATCH
In the 11-man matches, a maximum of 16 players may be used per match. That means 5 substitute players. Substituted players can be substituted again. In total, there must be 20 players in the squad and thereby 9 players available as substitutes.
In U11, U12 & U13, a maximum of 13 players may be used per match. Substituted players can be substituted again. There can be a total of 16 players in the squad.
PROVISIONS
· If the teams have the same jersey color, the latter team changes.
· 3 points are given for a won match, 1 point for a draw, while a lost match gives 0 points.
· In the event of a tie in a group match, a penalty shoot-out will be held to award the winning team an extra point.
· Protests must be submitted no later than 30 min. after the end of the match with a deposit of DKK 500, which will be refunded if the protest is upheld. Protests must be in writing and must be submitted to the convention office before the deadline.
· A team must bring its own footballs for warm-up.
· When checking in the team, a ball is handed in which must be used as a match ball throughout the tournament (and only this ball is used). The home team is responsible for bringing the match ball to the match.
· It is recommended that players have numbers on their shirts. If this is not the case, please let us know upon arrival at the tournament.
· At least two sets of shirts in different colors must be brought.
· Team sheet with club name, age group, player names and date of birth must be completed and handed in to the convention office before the team's first match.
· Serious misconduct by players will be reported to the clubs' national federations via the Danish Football Union. (DBU).
• Brøndby Cup Denmark refers to DBU-Sjælland's current rules, however, the tournament management reserves the sovereign right to decide questions of doubt.
• Should a match be interrupted (for whatever reason), the tournament management decides how the match may be played or continued or whether the standings at the interruption of the match shall stand. The tournament management's decision cannot be contested.
AGE DISPENSATION
At the latest on arrival at Brøndby Cup Denmark, a list of participants must be handed in, which clearly shows which players the team wants to use.
Players who meet the age limits can participate in two age groups. A maximum of three players on each team may be allowed to play on two teams.
It is possible to apply for an exemption for players who do not comply with the age limit in the individual row. However, the players must not be more than one year older than the current age group.
There may be a maximum of 2 players with age exemption on the pitch at the same time.
The team must send an application for dispensation no later than 17 June 2024 to tobr@brondbyif.net.
All players must present valid identification on request, as well as appear clearly on the team card.
FINALLY
Warnings and expulsions are handled according to DBU's rules, i.e. that a warning is NOT a temporary expulsion.
Placement of the teams in the play-offs will appear from the tournament schedule in the individual years.
• In the event of a tie, the placement matches must be decided by penalty kicks.
It is played on artificial grass and regular grass.
